The Annual Festivals
The Biblical Holy Days are the ordained Festivals of God as recorded in the Scriptures. Within these Annual Festivals there are seven Annual Sabbaths or "Holy Convocations" in addition to the weekly Sabbath which is also a Holy Convocation. On these Sabbaths work is restricted.
You may find that many have broken down Tabernacles calling for the last day to be a separate date, it is not.
A Simple Formula for Figuring the start of the new year
NOTE that all begin the evening before * The Passover service itself is held just after Sunset the evening before * First day and last day are a Sabbath Keep in mind that these dates must be verified by the state of the barley! |
